Family Camp Hawaii is a program provided for families from all Hawaiian Islands in conjunction with Camp Taylor's Mentor/Leadership program. This positive, family centered fun retreat is located on Oahu. For 2024 it will be at a hotel location making it easy for families to participate in activities and attend all gatherings and meals together in a safe environment. This is the perfect venue for Heart Oshana's of Hawaii to come together, to meet, laugh, learn, share and enjoy family fun. This positive family time guarantees laughter and cheers with family activities, ocean adventures, Heart Education, Arts & Crafts and much more. All activities are geared in support of the underserved population of pediatric cardiac families. Come sing with us and enjoy the togetherness that camp brings.
In their words:
"This was our first year at Camp Taylor and my family had a great time! We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived

About our Team
Our Team will have your family laughing in no time with games & songs! Unique to the Camp Taylor Family Camp programs is the priceless connection that our attendee families get to make with our mentors from our teen camps. Each family has a mentor (teens ages 16-21 with heart disease) assigned to their family throughout the weekend camp to spend time with. Every family that attends camp believes that the mentors are THE BEST part of camp! They are fun, full of energy, life experienced, amazing young people that know what it’s like to grow-up with heart disease and they are available to share their life experiences with everyone attending.
How much does it cost?
Camp Taylor in partnership with Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children works diligently each year to raise the necessary funds to provide a positive, life-affirming experience for cardiac families. There is a nominal $100 registration fee for each family of 4. Aside from this registration fee, camp is free to all families.
Who is Family Camp Hawaii geared for?
Children of all ages with heart disease and their families are invited to attend (families consist of two parents and siblings living in the same home.) This camp program is geared to heart families from the Hawaiian Islands.
2024 Brings our 16th year of serving families of Hawaii!
